Frank Hofmann (IAOPA representative to ICAO) and Bernard Gervais (IAOPA VP North America, COPA Pres. & CEO) were at the “Drone Enable, ICAO’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Industry Symposium” conference held in Montreal Sept. 22-23.  The symposium was to bring industry, regulators, researchers and others together, to openly discuss the future of UAS Traffic Management (UTM), what we need to look for and how this needs to be addressed. Leaders like Thales, Amazon and others were there to present their work and their vision.  Watch out for an article in an upcoming COPA Flight.
