KF Aerospace (KF), Canada’s biggest MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) facility with bases in Hamilton, Ontario and Kelowna, British Columbia, will be holding career fairs in both Hamilton (on Thursday September 19) and Kelowna (on Thursday, September 26).

KF expects to grow by 40 percent over the next three to four years and needs to fill over 100 new positions in the next year alone due to the completion of over 14,000 m2 (150,000 square feet) of expansion projects between their two bases.

Skilled and experienced tradesmen and tradeswomen are being sought for a variety of roles. The Kelowna-based company is also seeking candidates for entry-level positions.

“For our entry-level roles we provide on-the-job training that allows you to work towards a certification,” said Susan van Unen, KF’s human resources manager, who added that applicants from all backgrounds are invited to apply.

Okanagan College, which has an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) training facility near Kelowna at Vernon airport, will be present at the Kelowna career fair to provide attendees with information about their programs.

Tours of KF’s facilities at both of their bases will also be available on the days of the fairs.
