As many of you are aware, we are currently collaborating with NAV CANADA regarding access to airspace and other items. COPA requests that our members complete the NAV CANADA Experience Form when you are impacted by restrictions or provision of service issues. The electronic form is located on the COPA website under the ‘Advocacy’ header for our members to complete. As per my previous Notice, we are aware that the location of the form may not be convenient for our members. Below are instructions for how to create a ‘shortcut’ on your mobile device. Hopefully, this will make the form more accessible for our members.

I will provide a further update regarding the NAV CANADA Experience process and progress for our members in the next issue of the magazine.

Follow the instructions below to add a shortcut to a website on the home screen of your iPad, iPhone, or Android devices.

iPad or iPhone

1. Launch “Safari” app. This does not work from the “Chrome” app.
2. Enter https://oldcopa.org/advocacy/nav-canada-service-reporting/ into the address field to create a shortcut. Tap “Go.”
3. Tap the icon featuring an up-pointing arrow coming out of a box along the bottom of the Safari window to open a drop-down menu. You may have to scroll up to see options.
4. Tap “Add to Home Screen.” The Add to Home dialog box will appear, with the icon that will be used for this website on the left side of the dialog box.
5. Enter the name for the shortcut using the on-screen keyboard and tap “Add.” Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone or iPad.

Android

1. Launch “Chrome” app.
2. Enter https://oldcopa.org/advocacy/nav-canada-service-reporting/ into the address field to create a shortcut
3. Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap Add to home screen.
4. You’ll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen.
