In an announcement this week, Transport Canada says it is extending the current 30-day deadline for flight test candidates who completed only a portion of the flight test and had to delay the completion of the remaining portions due to operational considerations.

Applicable only to those with outstanding incomplete flight tests as of March 11, 2020, the affected candidates will now have until 90 days after municipal and provincial authorities rescind flight school closures and social distancing orders, but in no case later than March 31, 2021.
